In December 2009 Billabong and Silver Bullet Productions put a new spin on the popular Billabong Girls Get Out There Summer Tour, capturing their road trip as a 6 part TV series. 5 Brand Ambassadors plucked from hundreds of applicants join 3 pro riders for the 19 day tour from Balito Bay to Cape Town in this coming of age documentary.

This trip opened the eyes and minds of 8 girls from across South Africa, as they traveled miles of achingly beautiful South African coastline. A medley of interactions, a thousand thoughts and reflections and all the ensuing emotions unfold in front of an impartial lens, giving us a glimpse into the hearts and minds of these girls as their pink bus carries them through a landscape of new experiences.

The essence of surfing ebbs and flows throughout the trip, as the sport and lifestyle that inspired a brand is introduced to the ambassadors and their love and respect of the ocean and mother nature moves them in different ways.
