Xcel Showdown at Supertubes 2010

Every year Silver Bullet Productions covers this speciality surfing event held in Jeffreys Bay. This year we waited for one day of perfect waves during the month of May. The Silver Bullet Productions crew was responsible for the New Media highlight videos uploaded to various websites and blogs after each and every heat.

This event is by invite only giving the local Jeffreys Bay blue collar and professional surfers a chance to surf a contest at their own home break and stand a chance to win an entry into the Von Zipper Wild Card trials during the Billabong Pro in July.

Amongst all the logistical challenges we faced being on permanent standby for a month, one of our hardest challenges was covering the 4 hour long event in such a way to have enough material for 8 Highlight videos to be uploaded from the event with only 3 crew (2 cameras and one editor)
