Goodbye Citi scores again

Nominations have been rolling in for the "Goodbye Citi" campaign at this years Loerie Awards taking place this weekend. Silver Bullet Productions has received 5 award finalists for this year. The Loeries is the biggest advertising, communications, design and experiential media awards in Africa. The categories include Digital - Viral, Alternative Media and Field Marketing, Live Events, Mixed-Media Campaigns, and Through The Line Communications
The campaign followed four young South Africans as they drove the very last manufactured Citi Golf, a South African icon in its very own right, across country on a roadtrip. Silver Bullet Productions was responsible for the New Media aspect of the campaign with videos & photos of their antics being uploaded daily, thereby making them available virtually instantaneously for viewers to follow the journey. The campaign received an overwhelming response from the public, not just locally but worldwide, becoming one of the most successful campaigns in Volkswagen SA's history.
